In this role, Dr. Bensimhon will lead the company’s clinical strategy as Ellipsis Health expands its AI Care Manager into complex cardiac conditions, the latest addition to its work in high-acuity chronic disease and continuous care.
Dr. Bensimhon brings over two decades of clinical experience as a Duke-trained board-certified cardiologist and heart failure specialist, and currently leads the Advanced Heart Failure and Mechanical Circulatory Support Program in Greensboro, North Carolina. Throughout his career, he has developed innovative care protocols focused on reducing preventable hospital admissions for patients with complex cardiac conditions and increasing access to care, particularly for high-risk and vulnerable populations with heart failure. Dr. Bensimhon was the founder of Ventricle Health, a value-based care platform focused on optimizing post-discharge cardiac care. He has been an investigator in dozens of clinical trials, served as an author or co-author on over 100 peer-reviewed manuscripts, and is a frequent speaker at national and international HF conferences. He is a current member of the Heart Failure Society of America and the American College of Cardiology.
