Her responsibilities include inventory management, order fulfillment, materials coordination, receiving and distributing parts, processing customer orders, coordinating truck activity, and helping maintain an organized and efficient workflow.

She also leads a team, a responsibility that has taught her that effective leadership involves far more than simply knowing how to do the job.

Working rotating 12-hour shifts requires consistency, organization, adaptability, and clear communication. In an industry where customers and business partners depend on receiving the correct materials when they need them, details matter. A warehouse may operate largely behind the scenes, but the work taking place inside it has a direct impact on operations far beyond its walls.

Heather has learned to approach that responsibility with both accountability and composure. She believes a leader sets a tone—not only through what they expect from others, but through the way they conduct themselves when the day becomes difficult. Staying calm, communicating clearly, and remaining focused on the work at hand are qualities she has come to value deeply.
